Michael Shove
Candidate for Zoning Board of Appeals

Michael Shove, Town Council

Driven by a strong desire to serve the Town of Clinton, I am running as a candidate for the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA). As Assistant Fire Chief, I bring a transparent, logical approach and excellent communication skills to this critical role. I am committed to carrying out the vital work of the ZBA.

I have been a proud resident of Clinton for the past two decades and currently hold the position of chairman of the Public Works Commission. Recently, I retired from the United States Coast Guard after dedicating 22 years to the service.

My goals for the ZBA are straightforward and unwavering: to make decisions characterized by fairness, equity, efficiency, and timeliness.

When I’m not actively engaged in the essential work of these boards and commissions, you will likely find me and my lovely wife, Joanne, shuttling our kids around town to various sports practices and games.
